You need a role model.
Role models are so powerful in our lifes that you could easily go over the sadness, stress and confusion if you look at your role models. I believe the nurses below could be your role models if you are working hard on your dream of working overseas.
1. Denise said hello to me this morning on SKYPE, we have not been talking to each other for almost two years. She gave me a surprise that she has worked as a RN in Australian hospital for one year and a half, and her family is with her too. She is going to build her own house in Melbourne! She enjoys her work at a mental health recovery clinic. The job is easy and pays well.
2. Rainbow is my first nurse got to US with immigrant visa. She is now working as a RN in Denver and lives a happy life with her husband and daugher. She and her family members got their US immigrant visa in 2007.
3. Fan applied Canadian immigrant visa by herself under Federal Skilled Workers and Professionals. She has worked in the Middle East for one year and now she is living in Canada with her husband. She got the Canadian visa in mid 2010.
4. Whitney got her US student visa in 2010, she is studying Healthcare Management Master program at CHU. She found her job in a hospital in Denver the second week when she got to US, now she has passed the orientation and waiting for her CPT to start working as RN in that hospital.
I know many other nurses are working happily in Australia, US, Canada, UK, Singapore and AUE. They could all be your role models.
I wish you all have a wonderful 2011 and your dream come true.
